Vector vs. Raster: The Engineering Decision
Vector graphics (Adobe Illustrator, SVG, EPS, AI) are resolution-independent—they use mathematical paths, scalable to any size without quality loss. This makes them the gold standard for die-cutting precision and professional sticker production. Raster images (JPEG, PNG, PSD) are pixel-based—when scaled up, they pixelate. If using raster, resolution must be locked at final print size.
