  • 5 pt – Absolute floor for high-contrast (dark on light), all-caps, sans-serif fonts on paper stock. This is the absolute edge; I never approve this in production.
  • 6 pt – My hard operational limit for standard sans-serif fonts with uniform strokes (e.g., Futura Bold, Helvetica Bold) on white BOPP or paper materials.
